This is Tequila, a most beloved brindle Great Dane that showed up at the Strawn house about 2 years ago in really bad shape. 
Paige has a soft heart, and an even softer spot for the Danes. Quila was her special girl. I don't think Paige ever knew her real age, she was a mature dog when she came into their life. Paige kept a close eye on her and took excellent care of this special dog.
If you notice in the pictures, Paige dressed her pretty too, bought her special, pretty "girl" collars. Tequila never lacked for anything once she arrived at the Strawns. She had all the love Paige could muster from her generous heart, the best medical care and the pampering Tequila deserved.
Tequila had some health problems over the past few months that have worsened, Paige had to make the hard decision to let her go today.
For those of you who read my blog, think healing, kind thoughts for Paige and Barry today, it's not the way any of us should have to spend a holiday weekend. Then go hug your beloved pets, they are with us for far to short a time.
Tequila was a lucky dog, she landed at a home that pays attention to their pets, loves them unconditionally and takes such good care of them. I am sure she knew that and loved Paige and Barry back just as hard as they loved her.

I am sitting here bawling away with Bailey and the two house cats staring at me.
Quila was a very lucky dog. If there was a house that she needed in life it was the one she found. She was much loved and I am sure gave it back 100%.

photos are important...they are the markers of our lives. What we do, who we know, who touched our lives too.
What a beautiful memorial to Teq and Paige's big heart.
A tribute like that will stay in our heart forever.

This is a sweet tribute to a lovely lady dane. My own dane, Gita, was with me for ten years and I loved every moment with her. They are very special dogs.

Welcome Carmon! I love when people leave comments....both positive and critical. Tequila was such a nice nice girl, very sweet and Paige is a lovely, intelligent and best of all, kind woman. This dog could not possibly have landed in a home that would have loved her more.
